Adam Kimball Roberts Mission to Philippines Quezon City Mission

So remember how I complained about being transferred?  Yeah I take it all back I'm honestly 90% sure I died of food poisoning or something in Malaya and went to missionary heaven! This place is the best! The people are still soo nice and the ward is a ward and is soo helpfully we got like 7 referrals last week and actually had MCM and PEC sooo that was beast  Also I GET GOOD FOOOD and its soo good this email will mostly consist of pictures. love you guys!

Binyagggggggg! (Baptism) Yeah so as the title suggests I got to baptize two people this week! It was awesome!  One was a 13 year old girl named Mickhail and the other is a 65 year old woman named Helen. I just love how different both of these people are. Mikhail lives in a super nice house and her parents are super rich and Nanay Helen lives really an average Filippino life so she's really poor and has to raise 3 of her grandchildren but here's the beautiful thing about the gospel. Where you come from, who you are, how much money you have, how old you are, what you do DOESN'T MATTER! You are always welcome with open arms and boy am I glad I got to help bring these two into the church. I had 4 baptisms before this but these are my first conversions. I contacted both of these people on splits and taught the first 3 lessons on splits! I had no idea how much joy the gospel brings till I saw these two people transform their lives and prepare for baptism!   ...

Hey so I just want to say how much I love things here!  Seriously it's just the best. During my call on Christmas my brother asked if I'd come back and I said yes. Well I change my answer I wouldn't just come back for vacation. I'd live here. Honestly it's just so cool.  For example we'll just be walking to our next appointment and boom! Wow so this is where they filmed that scene in Indiana Jones!  Also some people are just like "Yeah man I just wandered off into the jungle and built my self a house. Whats up." It's so cool to find those people and just talk to them. I'll be real they are living the dream. If I suddenly disappear on my mission, first place to look is around the jungle on mount Sembrano. Yeah my life is basically flipped upside down literally because you know I'm current living on the opposite side of the world but also because of all the changes that have happened to me. Here's just a list of a few Physical: I look crazy different Adult: Everyone treats me like an adult  Food: starting to get used to the food Physical Yeah so I have a story to illustrate just how different I look. So we don't have any big mirrors in our apartment like we just have tiny mirrors that are just hand held. Anywho the other day we were going to the city for zone conference so I actually got to be in an actual restaurant so it actually had a bathroom.  Anyways I walked in and look at this big mirror and see my full reflection for the first time in a few months and it was legits like "Wow what's that blonde white guy doing here!? Oh flip man that's me!!" It was mind boggling I seriously just stared at myself for a solid 5 minutes just marveling at...

Things are going good here Pig Latin: This happened a while ago but everyone thinks it's funny when I tell it so I'll just tell it to you. Pig Latin  OK so a little while ago I was talking to a lady and she told me she spoke 5 languages!!!  Mandarin, Tagalog, English, Spanish, and Ilongo and then said like "So you ONLY speak English and Tagalog right?"  I was thinking like lady I don't even speak Tagalog but alright... so jokingly " I say nah I know Pig Latin."
