Elder Tune, Elder McQueen, and Elder Roberts Hey everyone! Yeah its actually been a pretty crazy week! We had Elder Cook come on Tuesday which was so cool honestly the only thing I think I'll miss about the MTC other than the chocolate milk and the English is the occasional visits from the apostles. Also now I'm in a companionship with 3 people which is weird! but cool! its me my old companion Elder Mcqueen and Elder Tune who was in my first email. OK so I have two actual stories this week which were awesome! For the first story I'll have to jump back to last weeks TRC (basically its just practice lessons members) in which my companion and I spoke such terrible Tagalog that the person we were teaching just could not stop laughing at us. It was extremely funny but also very discouraging! Anyways I found out we got her again for this weeks TRC and was pretty nervous about it! Anyways when we went in it started not too great but then I bore my testimony and asked

Mahal kayo! (I love you all)

Well things have started to go a ton better this week! The language is finally coming along I can a very condensed version of my testimony and can speak to the "investigators" fairly well. Didn't get along too well with my district or my companion at first but honestly things have gotten leaps and bounds better! I think you will all also be glad to hear I have been putting on weight I was told to eat until I was sick every meal which for these meals doesn't take long but its paying off. Also thanks to all the beautiful delicious packages I've been able to snack almost constantly! Only four more weeks till I'm in the field I keep wishing I could leave earlier than that until I have practice discussions and realize how much more Tagalog I still need. Also just a fun fact the word for happy in Tagalog in Masaya pronounced Messiah which I thought was extremely fitting. Lastly I'd like to finish with my Testimony or patotoo sa Tagalog. Alam ko po na b

First MTC email

Well I finally made it to pday! Its been such an amazing and trying week but above anything else this week has taught me that I am in no way qualified for this mission!  I am not patient enough to deal with a companion, I am not smart enough to learn Tagalog, I am not disciplined enough to wake up at 630am  everyday,  But despite all these short comings I know that through Christ I can successfully complete this mission. Philippians 4: 13 Here are all the resources I need for learning Tagalog.  I find myself wishing more and more I could have a tablet. The first thing the MTC president said to us was how he knew Spanish but went to the Philippines as a mission president and had to give a talk in Tagalog. He thought "How different could Spanish really be from Tagalog?" and then told us that the Spanish word for faith was el fait or something like that, well in Tagalog faith is pananampalitya. No joke hearing that made me feel so intimidated. But I know
