Adam Kimball Roberts Mission to Philippines Quezon City Mission

Elder and Sister Renlund visited the Philippines and Adam got to shake his hand. Elder Renlund spoke to the mission and Adam received very personal answers to his questions and felt the spirit really strong.

yeah so just so everyone knows i am having the best time of my life and will tell you about it in 6 weeks! But wanted to let you guys know about the 14 miracles that happened this week so we had the amazing opportunity to baptize 14 of our brothers and sisters that we have been teaching in the ocean!! it was super awesome and had some massive waves! (which was legit but also kinda scary) ill send pics next week because we are at a little ghetto computer shop and it isnt able to read our card thing but yeah next week na lang love you guys! see ya in 6!! Australian Dude so first story is about a text we got last night from this guy in complete English which me and my comp are like "oookkkayyy bro" because here in the Philippines english is this like big deal like if you are good at english you are like successful and smart in everyones eyes and the dude texting us is using words like Bloke (referring to one of his friends) and giving us a ring (calling us not asking us to marry him) so i was thinking like oh boy we got a dude that has watched Harry Potter and now thinks he speaks fluent english like oookay  so i answer back in tagalog and then the dude is like sorry i dont speak tagalog quite yet (he atually sent "im off the hook with the language at the moment" which like what...) so then he reveals he is from australia which made quite a few things about the weird way he talks make more sense so we through the use of the gift of tongues translate our way through his Australian and and get his address an...

ok so people (my family seems pretty livid about how my last email went so i guess ill give you guys a few more details about the week i guess Golden questions guy  alright so the other day we were teaching this new investigator for the first time and it was pretty cool because we like are teaching about prophets and dispensations and hes like yeah why dont churches have prophets anymore? it would be so nice if we still had prophets! which we are like yeah prophets would be super nice wouldnt they? and then we keep going and we talk about Jesus Christ and his earthly ministery and then he brings up the bible and how there are just way to many different versions of the bible that there is no way we could just rely on just the bible we need more scriptures and asked why god didnt give us more scriptures than just the bible which i was thinking like bro i need you to chill we are getting there! we arent even at apostacy yet i promise everything will make sense in just a minute bu...
