Long newsy email

Alrighty so just a few stories this week because my mom asked for them

Foreigner

Alrighty so the other day me and my companion met a lady from Sudan Africa so despite living here in the pines for the past 3 years she doesn't speak a lick of Tagalog so we had to speak to her in English and it was such a mess I kept speaking to her in Tagalog and having her like "Uhhh I dont speak Tagalog I told you that within like 2 seconds of you talking to me and me being like sorry" and trying to speak my poor excuse for English haha eventually it ended in my companion taking over and saving me and him just speaking to her after she asked if i was a Filipino (woman do I look like a Filipino?!)  and I was like "hin... I mean no I'm an American" and then she just roasts me and is like "So why don't you know how to speak English?" 

Yeah got me there lady haha not sure if I can come home anymore

Old Lady 

So the other day was a really rough probably the hardest I've ever been punted my whole mission. Like straight we hadn't had a single appointment which working from 10 am to 9 pm without any appts can be really discouraging so its about 8 at this point and I'm ready to get some din din but I was like alright elder we are going to go by this house of these members just real quick and after that we will head home.

So on our way there I was pretty frustrated and basically was like today I could've been at home and been chilling doing nothin' and I would've done just as much good as I did today Why is it that there are days like this? 

And then we get to the house of the member and we come and she's like "Elders we have been waiting for you!" and I thinking like "Huh why are you waiting for us? We don't have an appt here or anything?" 

And then this sweet little old lady explains that she has been feeling very sick and that she wanted to have us give her a blessing but she doesn't have a phone so she said a prayer and just waited for us to get there (Yeah this lady is a legend!) so anyways we gave her a blessing and she said she felt much better and thanked us and we left and I realized maybe sometimes God has to shut down every single plan we make so that we will finally follow his plan for us that's why its important to pick his plan first and not get too stuck on ours

Transfers

Also I'm now transferring to a branch in Antipolo super pumped! But transferring in
Dec. makes the Christmas call a little difficult but I'll figure it out. Anywho love you guys thanks for everything!
