Miracle Family
So we had something crazy awesome happen this week!
So the other day we had a member come to us and tell us that she had a referral which of course I was pumped so we went to her referrals house and we were teaching just the mom and one of her daughters because the dad was at work and the lesson was going pretty well and then boom the dad comes home early for like no reason and here's the thing from my experiences with dads I'm not really a fan usually they either just couldn't care less or directly oppose us.
So I was alittle nervous but boom this guy was awesome he joined in on the lesson and participated and at the end was like "This is weird because I usually get home from work at like 7 or 8 (it was like 4 when we were there)" and that he believes there was a reason why he got to get off work early. Not just that but yesterday the whole family came to church AFTER JUST ONE LESSON! and basically a nightmare happened at church because it was fifth Sunday and so someone from the stake presidency came and started talking to our ward. And he had up on this big tv these graphs of the tithing, average church attendance, baptisms, and other stats which just it made it feel like we were a business or something not fun!
After church we went over there and we were like "Hey uhh... how was church?" and they were like "Well its different from other churches I've been to" and then brother who isn't a fan of going to church apparently said "I felt really good there!" which was just awesome despite all the things that went wrong the spirit still was able to confirm the truth to him! so yeah that was awesome!
