yeah so some pretty awesome things went down this week most importantly we got a Family Baptized! it was so beast especially because 2 weeks ago  they were way not down and so we were trying to figure out what was stopping them because they said they loved going to church they loved when we came over they believed everything we taught so we were like so why dont you want to get baptized? eventually they told us it was because they were shy and that they didnt want to get up infront of people and bear their testimony (they had gone to Darryls baptism and saw him bear his testimony) so we were like oh thats the problem?? Yo dont stress we will make sure you dont have to get up infront of people even after this we still were only planning on two of them getting baptized because the other two were still not down but its ok because the nanay and one of the daughters were pumped! but then a miracle happened our RC nanay emma who refered this family and like all her friends and neighbors to us and who would go and teach this family with us went to this family without us and said basically like you all need to get baptized as a family and like bore her testimony on eternal families so yeah next lesson all four of them were like yeah we all want to be baptized! so before the baptism we talked to bishop and we were like yo dont invite them to bear their testimony or they wont come to church tomorrow to get confirmed so he was like aight cool they wont bear their testimony so yeah everything was going good we dunked em got them nice and baptized and then the guy conducting says we will now hear a testimony from nanay tilos (the mom of this family) legits audibly said "oi wag wag!" basically like yoooo dont do that bro!!! but anywho nanay gets up and is like before i was baptized i told the elders i didnt want to talk to you guys up here but i asked the guy conducting to give me alittle time to share and bro i heard that and booom im already in tears so she continues and shes like earlier today i saw the rain and was really scared that my baptism would be canceled (she and everyone else in the room is tearin up) so because she didnt have an umbrella she said she prayed that it would stop raining and then she looked outside and she said It STOPPED RAINING! so she said she like hurried over to her neighbors borrowed an umbrella and the all left to get baptized she then thanked the Elders (us) for going to her house and the was like "oo yun lang" (yeah thats it) and sat down and we were all like amen! it was awesome but the thing about the rain so the next day we come to the church and... its FULL of water because its been raining all week hardcore like the streets here look like rivers  anywho so a part of the ceiling in our chapel collapsed under the weight of the rain and so the rain got in and filled the church which just noooooooooo!!!! we got investigators comin for the first time!!! so we  are trying to clean up the rain not that well we only have 30 minutes! so we clean it up the best we can and then our inbestigators come and the one who came for the first time was like what happened and we are like it rained in the church and shes like ok so we go to sacrament but because we cant use the rooms downstairs or the relief society room we just had sacrament and then sent people home and me and my comp start helping clean up again and our investigators are just waiting for the rain to go down a bit and then the investigator who came for the first time comes up to me and is like man i love it here its too bad its not longer! and i was like yeah next week itll be longer and then shes like hey can i help you clean up? so yeah our investigator who came to church for the first time helped us clean up the church it was awesome! also heres the thing to i want to say to all potential and current missionaries dont get cocky youll have weeks where you have super high awesome numbers and all the other missionaries will be like dang you are so good thats whats up heres the thing there is no such thing as good missionaries and bad missionaries there is only missionaries who are where the lord wants them when he wants them there and the ones that arent its all about learning how to listen and responding but heres the most important thing whether or not you are where he wants you doesnt matter what he wants to accomplish is gonna happen so why listen and act if itll happen anyways? the importance of listening isnt about accomplishing the work its about if you listen you get to be part of the lords work anywho love you guys!
