Sorry I'm emailing late today because we were building one of the members houses all day which was awesome!

 I just wanted to say enjoy life cuz honestly guys life is beautiful! I know life can be freakin' palpak but you gotta just be happy.  That's the number one thing I've learned out here like this is probably the happiest I've ever been! I still walk miles everyday, I still shower in water imported from Antarctica, I still miss you guys... well some of you guys, I still have to battle elephant eating insects, I still have to eat pigs intestines and other weird foods, I still don't get any Cafe Rio or chocolate milk or  pumpkin cookies or... I gotta stop with that or Imma cry but . . .

 Everyone has been telling me "Just enjoy your mission and lose yourself in the work" and I felt bad that I was still so sad to be dealing with all the new weird things here and felt bad about missing my old life so. To my bros in the mission field who are having a hard time or to anyone going to serve a mission or anyone who's struggling cuz life is freaking hard. Appreciate the small things like cheese! (They don't have cheese here. They have this weird sweet yellow garbage that they call Keso which I am told is Tagalog for cheese but yeah they are lying it is not cheese!) 

 But really above all learn to love and enjoy people. I know people can be so disappointing! Constantly making people commit to do things has taught me that. But also people are awesome! Do something nice for the people around you I know its hard when you are sad or when doing something you like is at stake but its worth it! 

 Like yesterday we visited one of our RC's and she needed more help building her house so we said "Yeah we can help lay the floor!" she asks when and I said "Oh tommorow!" (this is in tagalog p.s.) and she's like alright awesome! 

 It wasn't until we left and my companion said "Elder tomorrow is pday" that I realized my grievous mistake. I had just given away the one day a week we get to relax to do some hard core labor. I'll be real I was about to cry I wanted to go back and be like "Martes! Hindi lunes! Martes!"  But i didn't so from 8am to 4pm we built this woman's house and it has been one of the best P-days of my mission! 

 Honestly I'll be real P-days honestly aren't great the break and the relaxation lets me think about how much I miss good food and my family and my life before.  But having this hardcore labor let me stay distracted which was awesome but more importantly I got to build a freakin' house for someone who needed one at the low expense of one P-day! How awesome is that? 

 Honestly if you are having a hard time just help someone out with something. I know for a fact I have never seen a sad person who did something nice for someone else! 

 Anyways things here are so awesome missions are beast! I say that to mean the slang term meaning like awesome and also because sometimes they are so beast they maul you and leave you mostly dead. 

 Anyways I love some of you a ton, alot of you a little, and a few of you not at all but where ever you land on that list keep up the good work!

Naoperahan Ako (I operated)

The Problem OK so I was preferring to have no one know this but this story is pretty funny so I'll just tell you.  Both the toenails on my big toes decided to go into all out rebellion and tried to dig for gold in their designated toes. it didn't start out that bad. What caused it is since it's the rainy season right now I've been wearing these airtight water proof rubber shoes and they are nice for keeping water out but they are pretty tight so it caused the little chitin monsters down stairs to go on strike. Which was just kinda painful. But then they went into all out rebellion when I decided to listen to their painful objections, and wore my normal shoes. My normal shoes do not have the helpful function of being water proof when the rains came down and the floods came up. So my feet got soaked and apparently toenails do not like being soaked in filthy poisonous Filipino rain water so they were completely irate and just made a massive mess of the mining sight t...

Vision

Ok so here's the thing I've been in the mission for a while now! (14 months)  and i had something happen that hasn't happened my entire mission!  I had an investigator who had her prayers answered through a dream OK so here's the story. So we go to one of our investigators who we have been teaching for a while but has only gone to church once but loves the lessons but isn't showing a lot of progression outside of the lessons so we come in kinda getting the listen we love teaching you and we love you guys thing going but we might not teach you as much anymore talk going. Basically the friend zone of missionary work  Anywho before I do that I get some followup going ask her about prayer and she's like a pray every night. Prayers good!  Aight um hows your Book of Mormon reading goin? and shes like well I read Alma 25. Which I'm thinking like "Uhhh that's not what we had assigned but hey she read!
